Dersin Amacı

The purpose of this course is to enable students to learn: the Mother and child health,diseases and protection against them, and emergency and first aid.

The definition of Mother and child health and the situation of child health in our country and in the world, The formation of pregnancy and child development in mother before birth, The effects of diseases and accidents to the baby, that a mother can have during pregnancy, Physical development (teeth, length and weight) of 0- 6 year old children, Child diseases (such as diarrhea, respiratory system illnesses, parasitary infections, etc.) seen at 0- 6 year old children, the protection against these diseases and vaccines, Health problems of women according to their life periods, Birth control and family planning, First aid that a teacher has to do in fractures and dislocations, in wounded person, in intoxications and drowns, etc.
