Course Objective

The objective of this course is to enable teacher candidates to learn the rules of protocol, etiquette, and code of conduct and to apply them to their social and professional lives in the future.

Course Content

Protocol (Official courtesy rules), manner, courtesy, decency, and image; First impression, effective communication and relationships; Courtesy and etiquette to be followed in the social life; Protocol rules to be followed in the public domain; Greetings, acquaintances, and introductions; Appeal; Presentation and address in ceremonies; Manners in human relations; Telephone and e-mail etiquette; Dress code; Restaurant, table, and dining etiquette; Invitations; Workplace etiquette and behavior in office.
