Dersin Amacı	This course seeks to study the evolution of the political ideas of reform in the Middle East countries, which formed the history and will form the features of future of the region. And the course discusses, also, its influences on social and political polices. The course forward to develop students' abilities to discuss and analyze the ideas, ideology and approach the Applied politics.
Dersin İçeriği	This course deals with trends and characteristics of the ideas the Middle East, and focuses, especially , on the three schools of thought; liberalism, Islamism, Nationalism, so as reflect the intellectual attitudes and political movements which respond to the problems in the Middle East. In terms of geographic prospect, the course includes, beside the Arab countries, both Turkey and Iran, where the region is witnessing a significant overlap and mutual influence that contributes in the formation of political and social features of the area. 1. The first part course deals with the character of intellectual schools and their visons to reform the region and conflict resolution and social contradictions. 2. The second part of the course, deals with intellectual projects and its political models, especially, the political experience in Turkey, Iran and Morocco, as a dynamic political system. 3. It also addresses the factors that promote conflict or cooperation between the different intellectual schools, whether was local, regional or international factors, and its impact on current issues.
