Dersin Amacı
To examine and teach Islamic culture and civilization established in area where it advanced from its origin to today- especially to the establishment of Ottoman State.
Dersin İçeriği
After stating sources of Islamic civilization and its expansion, it is handled the developments in political, administrative, social and economic, educational, ideal and scientific and art areas in the advanced places taking into account of the relationship and interaction with the neighboring cultures and civilizations and its effect on Europe.

1 He has top level knowledge and ability supported by textbooks including current knowledge, practicing devices and instruments as well as the other scientific sources related with auxiliary sciences for history; he uses these knowledge and abilities in his career and researches X
2 He analyzes and evaluates the concepts, idea and data related with history discipline by means of research methods in social sciences’, diagnoses, analyzes and discusses unknown (not studied) subjects, offers proposals based on scientific findings and evidences related with these subjects. X
