Dersin Amacı
Teach the application of fundamental chemical laws like “the law of conservation of mass” and “the law of definite proportions” and the physicochemical principals of chemical reactions at industrial scale to the chemical processes of the production of various chemicals.
Introduce basic chemicals with their various properties and provide basic information of their industrial processes giving examples from various industrial applications.
In this respect, gain the competency to make stochiometric calculations and to analize the different processes that may be encountered in the industry.

Fundamental principals of industrial chemistry, equipments, types of processes and working steps; Salt and sodium compounds; Electrolitic industries; Electrotermic industries; Phosphorous industries; Sulphur and sulphuric acid industries; Nitrogen industries. Oil and fat industries; Soap and detergant industries; Sugar and starch indutries; Cellulose, pulp and paper industries; Leather industries; Petroleum and petrochemical industries; Polymer industries.
