Dersin Amacı
The course provides the basis for sustainable land application of sewage sludge and products obtained by processing raw sludge, including biosolid, composts, and nonhazardous industrial by‐products, according with the risk assessment and regulatory framework.
Dersin İçeriği
Soil profile, physical, chemical and biological properties. Transformation and mobility of pollutants in soil. Properties of sewage sludge. Suitable site, crop and land for biosolid application. Necessary plant nutrients and toxic metals for plant physiology. Land application and regulations of sewage sludge.
