Dersin Amacı
Environmental Toxicology is a sub-branch of toxicology which examines the effects of chemicals and their negative impact on the environment. Synthetic man-made chemicals and chemicals emitted to the environment are  the interests of Environmental Toxicology. The chemicals are  defined as "environmental contaminants “ in the literature . Environmental toxicology examines negative effects of environmental pollutants on human health. In the field of ecotoxicology, regarded as a sub-branch of the Environmental Toxicology, ecosystems, plants, animals,  all wildlife and  their interaction with each other are examined. On the other hand, known effects of some chemicals on people, toxicological effects of other living things on the biosphere can be predicted in part. The purpose of this course is to recognize the poison that adversely affect biological life and  their forms of existence, to provide learning protection from the effects of environmental poisons in living organisms .
