Dersin Amacı
Physicochemical Processes form the basic elements of which many methods are used in the process of treatment of water and wastewater, control of air pollution and reuse of wastes. The aim of this lecture is to make the theories on which the physicochemical processes is based , comprehended and to give the principle of design of treatment systems. Furthermore, it is aimed to advance the therocial knowledges in these subjectes and to introduce processes in practice.

Advanced issues and applications of aeration and gas transfer, mixing, coagulation-flocculation, sedimentation, This course covers the general definition and theory physicochemical processes, applications in environmental engineering, interpretations of the laboratory analysis, choosing the process, process managment, gas disolution and analysis of physicochemical processes in related industries.
