Dersin Amacı
This lecture is for the graduate students, who got their first degree in Material Science and Engineering or related disciplines. The course will be able to prepare them in a way that they can distinguish the differences between powder metallurgy (PM) and particulate materials production technique with that of other conventional ones, like casting, plastic forming, rolling, etc. After successfully completing of this course, student will be able to gain knowledge so that they can demonstrate in writing on practical information about advanced metal and ceramic powder synthesis techniques, their shaping, consolidation and sintering as well as uses of powders for technological applications.
