Dersin Amacı

Intercultural communication can be defined briefly as creating common meanings by different cultures. Intercultural communication is considered as a necessity in todays global world. In this context the aim of this course  is to make students gain knowledge about the importance of intercultural communication and to make them develop intercultural communication skills. 

 

Dersin İçeriği

The content of this course are; to define the concept of culture, specilialities of culture and types of culture, to exhibit the relationship between culture and communication and the importance of intercultural communication, to evaluate the theories of intercultural communication and to define the relationship betweenintercultural communicationand the media.
