To compare Turkish and German languages; in terms of words, word types and sentence structure. To recognize sentence structures by comparison.

To recognize elements of sentences in both languages. To define sentence structures. To find sentence elements by comparing sentence structures.

1 The ability to use theoretical and applied knowledge in the related fields by having a sufficient amount of information on translation and translatorship.
2 The ability to detect problems in translation, define and formulize them; to this aim the ability to choose and apply appropriate analysis and modelling procedures. X
3 The ability to transfer theoretical information of other disciplines that can be acquired by students to the translation performance, i.e choosing another course outside the related department. Students acquire inter disciplinary awareness in this way.
