To identify critical time periods, and critical parameters prior to actual work. This course aims to present the use of mathematical modeling principles in environmental engineering. Dersin İçeriği To establish mathematical equations using principles of mass and energy balance. To solve these equation numerically and analytically, and to discuss the results. To make different modeling applications, e.g., ground water, rivers, and lakes. Modeling analysis of reactions and reactors. To use thermoydnamic data in modeling practices. Modeling of microbial reactions. Equations of Monod and Micheles-Menten, energy gain from microbial reactions and microbial growth.
