Aim of this course is to teach students the application of gravity method more productively by using various gravity interpretation techniques.

Regional-residual separation, smoothing, first and second derivative methods, downward and upward continuation methods, reserve estimation, gravity effects and determination of parameters of simple geometrical models; vertical prism, semi-infinite horizontal slab etc., determination of gravity effects of complex structures by graphical and analytical methods.
