The introduction of admixtures in conrete. Air entraining admixtures. Normal, super and hyper plasticizer additives, cold and hot weather concreting retarder and accelerator additives in this context, anti-corrosion additives, concrete admixtures that contribute to cure, Pozzolans and other finely ground materials, mineral additives, fly ash, granulated blast furnace slag, silica fume, rice and wheat husk ash, volcanic-based natural pozzolans (tras), heat-treated natural pozzolans, diatomite.
