This course aims to; define the concepts of education and religious education, recognize the field, aims and tasks of RE, understand relationship between the theories of religious development and learning, provide knowledge about history of RE and legal basis, and aproaches of curriculum developments in RE and teacher qualifications, know and discuss of current issues of religious education.
